MSSC STRUGGLE REPORT (서울, 南朝鮮, 6.07/08)
Beside some excitement caused by an article – “숲속홍길동(이상현)을…” - written on jinbonet and 노동의 소리 (but here it is already disappeared - here you can read the correction, made by the striking construction workers collective) we had a not so bad start of the week.
Over the weekend Ji Min-joo had several performances for struggling trade unions and there she collected donation for our struggle. On Monday afternoon she came to us, brought three 9 Liter mineral water bottles full with banknotes. Kwangju Kumho Tire Union and Ulsan Kyeongnam Health Care Hospital Union donted together nearly 1,039,000 Won! DEAR COMRADES, THANX A LOT!!
After that, like usual on Mondays, we joined “Every Mondays Solidarity Concert” and after that, also like usual…
Yesterday afternoon we supported the struggle of Korea Exchange Bank (KEB) Card Union (we already wrote about their struggle). Activists from this union were heroic defending us in front of Mokdong Immigration Office when on February 17 masses of immigration officers and riot cops were attacking us and captured Gupta (without their defense possibly we all would be captured!). So yesterday we went to the KEB, only 5 walk minutes away from our struggle place and joined their daily “noise terror” (day by day few members of the union are rallying there and exposing the building to sound). We, together with two activists of their union, held a small but powerful rally in front of the building.<br>
